Rome: Premier Giorgia Meloni’s office has announced that the Italian government supports the 20-point plan proposed by United States President Donald Trump to end the conflict in Gaza.

Italy pledged support for Washington’s efforts to resume dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians toward a peaceful coexistence.

The Italian government reiterated the possibility of achieving a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, envisioning a State of Israel and a Palestinian State living peacefully side by side, and the full normalization of relations with Arab and Islamic nations.
