According to Ansa News Agency, Meloni highlighted the importance of Italy’s solid relationship with the US. She stressed the need to demonstrate a continued and strengthened partnership at a time when global challenges are increasingly interconnected. Meloni expressed these views while explaining her presence at Trump’s oath-taking ceremony and her participation in a religious service with him at St John in Washington prior to the inauguration.
