London: Premier Giorgia Meloni informed British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a meeting in London that new tools are essential for addressing issues related to security and migration.
According to Ansa News Agency, Meloni emphasized the need for innovative approaches, expressing confidence in the potential for collaboration with Starmer on various matters such as security, defense, energy, and combating irregular immigration and human trafficking. She stated, “I know that we both think outside the box and I am sure that we can do even better in areas such as security, defense, energy and the fight against irregular immigration and human traffickers.”
Meloni highlighted the importance of developing new tools and ideas to ensure the safety of citizens. The discussion took place ahead of a summit in London focused on Ukraine and European defense. Meloni also expressed her satisfaction with the existing partnership between Italy and the United Kingdom on significant issues.
