Mattarella Expresses Dismay at Death of 3 Carabinieri

Rome: President Sergio Mattarella expressed “dismay and deep sorrow” on Tuesday after three Carabinieri police officers, Marco Piffari, Davide Bernardello, and Valerio Dapr , were killed by an explosion during the eviction of a farmhouse in the province of Verona.

According to Ansa News Agency, President Mattarella conveyed his solidarity with the Carabinieri Corps and extended condolences to the family members of the deceased officers. He also wished for a speedy recovery for the officials who were injured in the explosion.
