Naples: The Italian State police’s special DIGOS division on Wednesday arrested a 30-year-old Moroccan man suspected of planning attacks on the Jewish community in Naples, the authorities said. The arrest took place in the province of Naples as part of an investigation conducted by prosecutors in the southern Italian city.

According to Ansa News Agency, the suspect is accused of having joined ISIS and disseminating its multimedia material online. This includes sharing training content from the “terrorist organisation.” The arrest underscores the ongoing efforts by Italian authorities to thwart potential threats to public safety and combat the spread of extremist ideologies.
