Leoni Moves from Parma to Liverpool

Liverpool: Teen centre back Giovanni Leoni has moved from Parma to Liverpool for 26 million pounds or around 30 million euros, Red boss Arne Slot said Thursday. Rome born 6ft 5in Leoni, 18, has played 17 times for the Serie A club and seven times for Italy’s Under-19 side.

According to Ansa News Agency, Leoni is regarded as one of Italy’s most promising young defenders.
