Kosovo Secures 3-0 Victory Over Cyprus in Nations League Clash

Pristina: The national team of Cyprus suffered a 3-0 defeat against Kosovo at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Pristina during the fourth match day of the Nations League.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Kosovo’s team clinched the win with goals from Amir Rahmani at the 30-minute mark, Ermal Krasniki in the 52nd minute, and Emir Sahiti securing the final goal at the 70th minute. The efforts of the Cypriot players, despite the loss, were praised by their coach, Sofronis Avgousti. He expressed disappointment over the result but acknowledged satisfaction with the players’ performance.

In other related group matches, Romania recorded a significant 2-1 victory against Lithuania away from home. The standings after these matches show Romania leading with 12 points followed by Kosovo with 9 points. Cyprus has managed to secure 3 points, and Lithuania is yet to score in the tournament.
