Jazeera Airways Expands Kuwait-Larnaca Flights Year-Round to Enhance Cyprus’ Connectivity

LARNACA: Jazeera Airways has announced its decision to extend its flight program connecting Kuwait and Larnaca throughout the year, a move welcomed by Cypriot Deputy Minister for Tourism, Kostas Koumis, aimed at boosting Cyprus’ connectivity with the Arab Peninsula.

According to Cyprus News Agency, during a meeting with Jazeera Airways’ Area Manager for Levantine and Egypt, Madonna Hoyek, and Jazeera Airways’ Cyprus representative, Antonis Orthodoxou from Sky Master, Kostas Koumis discussed the current state of Cyprus’ connectivity with regional countries. The Deputy Ministry is actively seeking to enhance flight connections and is in ongoing dialogues for potential collaborations to promote Cyprus as a premier tourist destination.

Hoyek confirmed the airline’s commitment to maintaining the Kuwait-Larnaca route as part of its year-long schedule, highlighting Larnaca’s appeal as a destination with favorable weather and attractive tourist experiences throughout the year. The flights, which will operate twice
weekly until March, will continue into the summer season schedule.

Furthermore, Hoyek expressed Jazeera Airways’ plans to leverage this extended flight program to improve connections between Cyprus and other nations in the Arab Peninsula. Deputy Minister Koumis expressed optimism about the ongoing cooperation with Jazeera Airways, emphasizing the positive impact expected on tourism and broader economic benefits.
