Rimini: Judges or bureaucrats won’t stop the government on migrants, Premier Giorgia Meloni said Wednesday. “I want to say clearly that any attempt made to prevent us from managing the phenomenon of illegal immigration will be rejected: there is no judge, politician, or bureaucrat who can prevent us from enforcing Italian law, guaranteeing the safety of citizens, fighting the slave traders of the third millennium, and saving human lives,” said Meloni in a keynote closing speech at the annual Meeting in Rimini of the influential Catholic activist group Comunione e Liberazione (CL).

According to Ansa News Agency, Meloni’s statement underscores her administration’s firm stance on immigration policy and highlights her commitment to enforcing Italian law.
