According to Ansa News Agency, this triumph marked the 36th consecutive victory for coach Julio Velasco’s team. The victory added the world title to the Olympic crown they won last year, showcasing their continued dominance in the sport.

This achievement represents the Azzurre’s second world title, coming 23 years after their first. The team’s remarkable performance has been celebrated across Italy, culminating in the upcoming reception by the President.
