Italy’s Real-Estate Market Sees 1.7% Growth in 2024

Rome: Italy’s real-estate market experienced a 1.7% growth in 2024 with a total of 950,240 properties changing hands, reflecting an increase from the previous year, Istat reported on Wednesday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the national statistics agency detailed that sales of residential properties saw a 1.8% rise, while acquisitions in the economic sector increased by 1%. Additionally, the agency noted that 331,013 mortgage agreements were finalized in Italy in 2024, indicating a 7.2% increase from the prior year.
