Italy’s Public Debt Down 10 Billion to 3.053 Trillion in May

Rome: Italy’s public debt fell to 3.0535 trillion euros in May, a drop of 10 billion euros with respect to April, the Bank of Italy said on Tuesday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the central bank reported that tax revenues for the first five months of the year amounted to 213.5 billion euros, marking an increase of 3.3%, or 6.8 billion euros, compared to the same period last year.
