Italy’s Public Debt Decreases by 14.5 Billion Euros in July
Rome: Italy’s public debt experienced a significant reduction in July, falling to 3.0563 trillion euros, according to the Bank of Italy. This marks a decrease of 14.5 billion euros compared to the previous month of June.
According to Ansa News Agency, the central bank attributed the decrease primarily to a general government cash surplus, which amounted to 14.2 billion euros. Additionally, there was a reduction in Treasury liquidity by 0.2 billion euros, bringing the total to 46.8 billion euros.
