Italy’s Leadership in EU Recovery Plan Reaffirmed by Latest Report

Rome: Italy’s leadership in implementing the EU-funded post-COVID National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) has been reaffirmed by the latest report, Premier Giorgia Meloni announced. “The sixth Report to Parliament on the state of implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan confirms Italy’s European primacy in its implementation, in terms of the number of objectives achieved, overall resources received and number of payment requests formalized and collected,” Meloni stated in the report’s preface.

According to Ansa News Agency, Meloni emphasized the continued efforts of the government, administrations, prefectures, and all implementing bodies to complete the investments and reforms outlined in the NRRP. She emphasized the perseverance and determination that have positioned Italy as a model in Europe for the plan’s implementation.

Meloni acknowledged the ongoing work required to maintain and build upon Italy’s success in the NRRP. She expressed pride in the achievements thus far and encouraged continued diligence to enhance outcomes for the benefit of Italy and its citizens.
