Italy’s 2025 Economic Growth Projected at 0.6% By Treasury
Rome: Italy is on track for economic growth of around 0.6% in 2025, according to the quarterly issuance program of the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The report outlines the expected economic trajectory for the upcoming years and highlights key contributing factors to this growth forecast.
According to Ansa News Agency, the Treasury’s report notes that in the second quarter, a slight contraction in GDP was recorded, mainly due to the negative contribution of net exports. Despite this contraction, the report emphasizes the growth achieved in the second quarter, which stood at 0.5%, indicating substantial stability in the economy.
The quarterly issuance program further points to an annual growth figure in line with or close to the official April forecast of 0.6% in real terms. This projection reflects the Treasury’s confidence in the stability and resilience of the Italian economy amidst various challenges.
