Milan: Italy will be up to global challenges even in the face of turmoil sparked by Donald Trump’s erratic tariff policies, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said Tuesday. “Italy will be up to the challenges that the international framework imposes,” Giorgetti affirmed.

According to Ansa News Agency, Giorgetti emphasized the need for determination in addressing issues within the European financial system. He highlighted concerns such as continuous delisting, capital outflow to other jurisdictions, the undersizing of stock markets, and delays in venture capital. Giorgetti conveyed these remarks via video link at the Salone del Risparmio (Savings Show) in Milan.
