Italy Ready to Aid in Gaza Reconstruction with Experienced Companies

Rome: Italy has experienced companies ready to assist in the reconstruction of Gaza, announced Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on Thursday. Tajani, who also serves as the deputy premier, emphasized the urgent need for reconstruction and aid for the civilian population following the recent ceasefire and prisoner-hostage exchange deal between Israel and Hamas, marking the initial phase of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan for the region.

According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani highlighted Italy’s history of successful interventions in devastated areas, indicating a preparedness to contribute significantly to Gaza’s reconstruction efforts. He noted that Italy’s involvement would not only focus on physical reconstruction but also on humanitarian efforts. This includes welcoming Palestinian children and the development of university corridors, with an expected arrival of 350 individuals in the coming weeks.

The Foreign Minister’s statements underscore Italy’s commitment to supporting Gaza’s recovery and the broader peace process, leveraging its expertise and humanitarian initiatives to foster stability and development in the region.
