Italy Condemns Jerusalem Shooting Attack

Rome: Italy’s Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has condemned a terrorist attack that took place in Jerusalem on Monday, involving two Palestinian gunmen. The attack resulted in the deaths of five people, and the gunmen were subsequently killed by Israeli police.

According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani expressed strong disapproval of the violence, stating, “Terrorism must not prevail in any way, and we will fight it without any hesitation.” He extended his solidarity to the families of the victims and called for an end to violence and war.

Tajani emphasized the need for an immediate ceasefire and urged for a swift political solution to the conflict, advocating for a ‘two peoples – two states’ approach to bring peace and stability to the Middle East.
