Rome: Italy is awaiting a clear Russian response to the request for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire which Ukraine has accepted, Premier Giorgia Meloni told a press conference with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis after an Italo-Greek intergovernmental summit in Rome Monday. “We await a clear Russian response to the request for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, which Ukraine has accepted,” she said.
