Italian Volunteer Dies Fighting with Ukrainian Forces
Kyiv: An Italian volunteer, Antonio Omar Dridi, has died while fighting for Kyiv against the Russian forces of invasion, Memorial, the Association of International Volunteers for Ukraine, said in a Facebook post on Wednesday. “Please Help us Honor Him so that He Is Not Forgotten,” the post read. “Our Beloved Italian Brother Antonio Omar Dridi, who had been serving in Ukraine as a Volunteer succumbed on the Battlefield. “Honor, Glory and Gratitude To Our Brother”.
According to Ansa News Agency, Dridi, who had been listed as missing in action since March, is the fifth Italian to have died fighting in Ukraine.
