Estonia: Italian F-35 fighters based in Estonia intercepted Russian jets for the first time. “For the first time, two Italian F-35s have taken off in Estonia in response to Russian aircraft as part of NATO’s air patrol mission,” stated NATO Air Command.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Italian Air Task Force, a detachment of the 32nd Wing at ‚¬Å¾mari Air Base, is on rapid alert 24/7.
