Italian Embassy in Seoul Strengthens Ties with Dangjin Delegation

Seoul: The Italian Embassy in Seoul, represented by Political Counsellor Giorgio Maria Cavalieri, recently hosted a delegation from the International Cooperation Office of the city of Dangjin. The meeting aimed at enhancing the relationship between Italian and Korean regions.

According to Ansa News Agency, Dangjin, a prominent port city in South Chungcheong Province, is recognized for its dynamic growth and development. This meeting follows a series of institutional discussions between the Italian ambassador in Seoul, Emilia Gatto, and the mayor of Dangjin, focusing on fostering mutual cooperation.

The visit by the Dangjin delegation initiated dialogue for a potential twinning arrangement with a town in Puglia, Italy. This marks the beginning of efforts to strengthen cultural and economic ties between the two regions.
