Italian Design Day Celebrated with Film Screening and Panel Discussion in Athens
Athens: The celebration of Italian Design Day 2025 commenced at the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Athens with the screening of ‘An Emperor’s Jewel: The Making of the Bulgari Hotel Roma’. The event featured the presence of Vincenzo Falcone, the Director of the prestigious Roman Hotel, and director Andrea Rovetta.
According to Ansa News Agency, the screening was followed by a panel discussion focusing on hospitality and well-being. Greek architect Konstantinos Polychronioiu moderated the discussion, which included contributions from Prof. Francesco Scullica of the Milan Polytechnic, and architects Marika Mavroleon and Simone Ciarmoli.
Ambassador Paolo Cuculi addressed the large audience, which included Greek authorities, professionals, and students, emphasizing that “Italian Design” is not only synonymous with beauty and aesthetics but also stands out for its practicality and comfort, enhancing the quality of life.
