Israeli Military Concludes Targeted Airstrikes on Iranian Facilities

TEL AVIV: The Israeli military announced the completion of a series of targeted airstrikes on Iranian military installations, focusing on missile manufacturing facilities responsible for producing missiles launched at Israel over the past year. This operation was a direct response to recent missile attacks from Tehran.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli military targeted surface-to-air missile systems and other Iranian aerial assets that could hinder Israel’s operational capabilities within Iranian airspace. The military confirmed that all aircraft involved in the operation returned safely to base, asserting that a range of offensive capabilities was utilized to strike strategic assets deep within Iran.

In a video statement, Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari stated, “We conducted targeted and precise strikes on military targets in Iran, thwarting immediate threats to the state of Israel.” He confirmed that the Israeli army had fulfilled its mission and warned of further responses if Iran escalates
the situation.

Iran, prior to the announcement of Israel’s attacks, indicated its readiness to retaliate against what it termed Israeli “aggression.” The semi-official Tasnim news agency cited sources saying that Israel would receive an appropriate response for any actions taken. Additionally, Iranian sources disputed Israeli media reports claiming over 100 fighter jets participated in the attack, describing these claims as exaggerated.

The United States has stated that Israel’s strikes were an exercise of self-defense in response to a ballistic missile attack from Iran on October 1st.
