Israel, PNA Presence at Med Dialogues Symbol of Peace Hope

Naples: The presence of Israeli and Palestinian National Authority (PNA) officials at the Med Dialogues session in Naples is a symbol of hope for peace, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said after attending the event.

According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani, who is also deputy premier, met with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Saar and Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian during the Med Dialogues in the southern Italian port city. Tajani expressed his gratitude to both for their participation, stating it represents a new phase of hope for peace in the Middle East and a future of coexistence based on the Trump Plan.

The Naples event is notable as it marks the first occasion since the ceasefire that has brought Israeli and Palestinian ministers together in the same setting. This underlines Italy’s commitment to fostering dialogue between the two peoples. Tajani emphasized the significance of this meeting, highlighting it as a step toward peaceful coexistence.
