Inzaghi to Discuss Future with Inter Following Champions League Loss
Milan: Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is set for talks with Chairman Beppe Marotta on Tuesday regarding his future after a 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final. Marotta has expressed his desire for Inzaghi to remain with the club despite the recent loss.
According to Ansa News Agency, the 49-year-old coach has been linked to a potential move to Saudi club Al Hilal, which is reportedly offering a lucrative deal. Despite this, Inzaghi’s tenure at Inter has been marked by significant achievements. Under his leadership, Inter secured the 2023-24 Serie A title.
Since joining Inter in 2021, Inzaghi has also led the team to victory in two Italian Cups and has twice reached the Champions League final. The upcoming discussions with Marotta will determine his future with the club amid these accomplishments.
