Naples: Napoli coach Antonio Conte and Inter boss Simone Inzaghi will both be unable to command their teams from the touchline in Friday’s decisive matches for the Serie A title race against Cagliari and Como respectively after being sent off at the end of their sides’ games on Sunday.

According to Ansa News Agency, Inzaghi received a red card for dissent during Inter’s dramatic 2-2 draw at home against Lazio, whose coach Marco Baroni was also sent off for similar reasons. Meanwhile, Conte faces suspension following a heated altercation with Parma boss Cristian Chivu after a goalless draw away from home. Chivu was also red-carded in the incident.

Napoli enters the final round of fixtures with a narrow one-point lead over reigning champions Inter, making Friday’s matches crucial in deciding the Serie A title. The absence of both head coaches could significantly impact their respective teams’ performances in these critical encounters.
