Injuries on Resinovich’s Body Attributed to Third Party, New Report Reveals.

Trieste: Marks and injuries caused by third parties have been discovered on the body of Liliana Resinovich, a 63-year-old Italian woman who was found dead in January 2022, three weeks after she went missing from her home in Trieste, according to a new medical report. This revelation comes from the Il Piccolo newspaper, which indicates a potential new direction in the investigation surrounding Resinovich’s mysterious death.

According to Ansa News Agency, the complete findings of the medical-legal report conducted by experts from the Trieste Public Prosecutor’s Office are anticipated to be released by December 15. This forthcoming report could serve as a significant turning point in the case of Resinovich, who disappeared from her home on December 14, 2021. Her body was later discovered on January 5, 2022, in woods near a former psychiatric hospital, a short distance from the residence she shared with her husband, Sebastiano Visintin.

Prior to the emergence of this report, the prevailing suspicion was that Re
sinovich had committed suicide, even though her body was found encased in two black rubbish bags. The new findings suggest a possibility of foul play, which could alter the course of the investigation and potentially bring new insights into the events leading to her untimely death.
