Warsaw: The Italian Ambassador to Poland Luca Franchetti Pardo inaugurated the 11th edition of the “Italian Wine Exchange in Poland” in Warsaw, an event organized by the Ice Agency in collaboration with the Italian Embassy. Italy exported approximately 37 million liters of wine to Poland, accounting for 25% of the country’s total wine imports, with a value of 121 million euros, marking a 5.5% increase compared to the previous year.
The Wine Exchange event this year featured the participation of 30 companies from 12 Italian regions, compared to 10 in the previous year. The event included a walk-around tasting with over 150 labels, an increase of twenty-five from last year. To further enhance the promotional reach, two additional masterclasses will be held in Gdansk on 5 June and in Poznan on 17 June.
