Huge Sign on Milan Skyscraper Off Keel After Slumping
Milan: A huge sign with the logo of Italian insurance giant Generali at the top of Milan’s Hadid tower skyscraper was off keel on Monday after slumping to one side.
According to Ansa News Agency, the company, whose Milan headquarters are in the skyscraper, stated that the situation had been “promptly handled” and the sign had been secured “without any damage to people or surrounding structures.” In response to the incident, firefighters swiftly sealed off the area below. As a precautionary measure, the nearby City Life Shopping Centre and M5 metro station were temporarily closed to ensure public safety.
