Work has begun in the European Union, and many European issues await resolution: the restoration of the longed-for peace; improving European competitiveness; dealing with the demographic crisis; dealing with the root causes of migration – pointed out György Hölvényi, a member of the European Parliament of the KDNP, on his Facebook page .
Next to György Hölvényi’s video, he wrote: It seems almost unbelievable, but it’s been nine years since a migration wave of a spectacular size started to Europe, via Hungary. The Hungarian government and Viktor Orbán personally gave an effective response to the challenge under difficult circumstances and in complete political headwinds. The hard decision at the time has now become a historical truth. The EU decisions taken since then on the migration issue have not brought any lasting solution.
He emphasized: a significant reduction of migration pressure and the slowing down of migration processes can only be achieved with a much more effective development policy. One of t
he pillars of this is spreading the culture of local help. It won’t work without it. This is why I can work in the coming years as the recently elected professional development policy leader and spokesperson of the Patriots for Europe group.
