Paris: Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti beat America’s Frances Tiafoe in four sets to qualify for the semi-finals of the French Open in Paris Tuesday. The 23-year-old world no 567 from Carrara secured a victory over the 27-year-old Orlando-born world no 17 with scores of 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, and 6-2.

According to Ansa News Agency, Musetti’s performance was notable as he advanced to the semi-finals, showcasing his skills against a higher-ranked opponent. The match saw Musetti taking the lead in the first set, with Tiafoe managing to equalize in the second.
