Former TV Sales Scammer Nobile Arrested in Vice Probe

Milan: Stefania Nobile, a 60-year-old Italian woman known for her involvement in a notorious television sales scam, was placed under house arrest on Tuesday amid allegations of participating in a drugs and prostitution ring, sources said.

According to Ansa News Agency, Nobile’s former partner, Davide Lacerenza, who owns the Milanese VIP nightclub Gintoneria, was also placed under house arrest alongside a third individual. They are accused of supplying drugs and prostitutes to clients, generating significant profits from these activities.

On Tuesday, finance police executed warrants to seize assets valued at 900,000 euros in connection with the investigation. Nobile, who was released from prison in 2013 after serving a nine-year sentence for the TV sales scam, is once again under scrutiny. Her mother, Wanna Marchi, who is more widely recognized, was also convicted in the same case.
