Footballer Rugani Convicted of Driving Under Influence
Turin: Italian soccer player Daniele Rugani was found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol by a Turin judge on Thursday and handed a suspended six-month jail term and a 2,000-euro fine.
According to Ansa News Agency, the Ajax defender’s driving licence was suspended, and his car, a Maserati, was confiscated. The former Juventus player failed an alcohol test in July 2023 after an accident on the outskirts of Turin in which no one was hurt.
