Flotilla Reports 12 Unidentified Boats Approaching

Gaza: The Global Sumud Flotilla reported on Wednesday that 12 unidentified boats were approaching as it neared Gaza on an aid mission, which Israel has indicated it intends to halt.

According to Ansa News Agency, Democratic Party MP Arturo Scotto, who is on board the humanitarian mission, stated, “A dozen boats, currently unidentified, are approaching the Flotilla; they are about 5 miles away from us.” Scotto further noted that the boats were moving slowly.

The approach of these unidentified vessels adds a layer of uncertainty to the mission, which has already faced obstacles due to Israel’s stance on preventing the flotilla from reaching its destination. The situation remains tense as the flotilla continues its journey towards Gaza.
