Flotilla Declares Determination to Continue Aid Mission Despite Israeli Attacks

Tel aviv: The Global Sumud Flotilla, which is en route to deliver aid to Gaza, declared on Thursday that it would not be deterred by Israeli actions and would persist in its mission to breach the blockade on the region. This announcement comes in the wake of a recent attack involving a sound bomb and pepper spray drone earlier this week. Israel has also accused the flotilla of being operated by Hamas-controlled terrorists.

According to Ansa News Agency, Nkosi Zwelivelile Mandela, the grandson of the late South African leader Nelson Mandela, expressed the flotilla’s resolve at a press conference held by the expedition’s representatives. Mandela stated, “Israel will not intimidate us. We will not stop our efforts until the genocide is stopped. We call on governments to apply pressure to stop the violence.”

The Global Sumud Flotilla’s journey has attracted significant attention due to its aim of breaking the blockade on Gaza, a region under strict security and political controls. The flotilla’s leaders are urging international governments to intervene and help end the ongoing conflict and humanitarian issues in the area.
