F1: China GP Sees Disqualification of Ferrari’s Leclerc and Hamilton
Shanghai: Ferrari lost all the points it earned in the Chinese GP, after their cars were disqualified following Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton’s fifth and sixth place finishes in the season’s second race. This outcome further compounded their disappointing performance from the season-opening Australian GP.
According to Ansa News Agency, both Ferrari single-seaters were disqualified following post-race checks. Charles Leclerc’s car was found to be underweight, resulting in his disqualification from the fifth position. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari faced a penalty after the rear skid plate was determined to be below the minimum thickness required by the technical regulations, leading to his disqualification from the sixth position.
