Expo: Italdesign Exhibit Inaugurated at Italy Pavilion

Osaka: Italdesign’s temporary exhibit ‘Designing the Future, Bridging Cultures’ has been inaugurated at the Italy Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. The show’s concept is in line with the theme ‘Designing Future Society for Our Lives’ of the universal exhibition.

According to Ansa News Agency, the immersive space, which will remain open at the Italy Pavilion until August 21, includes four different thematic areas, each offering an insight into the company’s approach on mobility, design, and innovation. The space takes visitors on a journey through a combination of iconic products, multimedia content, and visual narrative.

Italdesign’s exhibition serves as a meeting point between worlds in which heritage inspires innovation, and the future is built on shared values. Together with the Turin-based startup Avathor, Italdesign has also showcased a vision of future inclusive mobility with Avathor One, an electric vehicle classified as a Class 1 medical device for wheelchair users and people with mobility impairment, which can be used outdoors or in closed spaces, privately or through a sharing scheme.

“Our multidisciplinary and experience-oriented approach contributes in giving concrete shape to our vision of a sustainable and inclusive future,” said Giorgio Gamberini, Italdesign’s Business Development Director. “In Osaka, we show how design can be regarded as a bridge between cultures and industrial sectors, a true engine of sustainable progress and a tool to concretely improve the quality of our lives,” concluded Gamberini.
