Europe Needs Unity to Address Tariff Challenges, Says Orsini

Brussels: Europe must remain united to obtain a positive agreement on tariffs, the President of industrial association Confindustria Emanuele Orsini said on Tuesday.

According to Ansa News Agency, Orsini emphasized the importance of European unity in trade discussions during his address at the congress “Building a Circular Economy for a Sustainable and Competitive Europe” held at the European Parliament. He expressed concerns over potential trade conflicts and highlighted the necessity for Europe to present a consolidated stance in negotiations.

Italy, recognized as the fourth largest exporting country globally, has expressed apprehension about the implications of a trade war. Orsini remarked that Europe must act cohesively on these matters to effectively engage in negotiations and maintain free trade with other nations.
