EU Should Count to 100 Before Talking About War – Salvini
Rome: Deputy Premier and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini stated on Wednesday that Europe must deliberate extensively before engaging in war discourse, following an incident where Poland reported intercepting several Russian drones that breached its airspace overnight.
According to Ansa News Agency, Salvini emphasized the need for composure from Brussels amidst rising tensions. He highlighted the importance of careful consideration before discussing military interventions, whether concerning Russia or ongoing conflicts between Israel and Palestine.
Salvini further articulated his primary concern, underscoring issues not related to military threats from Russia or Israel. He pointed out the challenges posed by illegal immigration, which he described as a pressing issue for Italy. He noted that the influx of immigrants brings about various challenges within the country.
