Milan: In the first quarter of the year, Italo-French eyewear group EssilorLuxottica reported consolidated revenues of 6.848 billion euros, marking a growth of 7.3% at constant exchange rates compared to the first quarter of 2024, and an 8.1% increase at current exchange rates.
According to Ansa News Agency, North America, which accounts for over 40% of EssilorLuxottica’s revenues, witnessed a growth of 4%. Meanwhile, the Asia-Pacific region experienced a significant double-digit increase, driven by the strong performance of myopia management solutions in China.
EssilorLuxottica is actively exploring strategies to mitigate the effects of US tariffs on imports, as detailed in the group’s financial statements.
