Enel Reports 9.6% Increase in 2024 Net Profit

Rome: Enel, the Italian energy group, announced a 9.6% increase in net profit for 2024, reaching 7.135 billion euros. The financial results were revealed on Thursday following the approval of the accounts by the company’s board of directors.

According to Ansa News Agency, Enel’s ordinary EBITDA for 2024 stood at 22,801 million euros, marking a 3.8% rise compared to the previous year. However, the company experienced a decline in revenues, which fell by 17.4% to 78.947 million euros. On a positive note, Enel’s net debt decreased by 7.3%, settling at 55,767 million euros.

The company declared a dividend of 0.47 euros per share, reflecting a 9% increase from the 2023 dividend. Enel attributed the strong financial performance to the positive evolution of its integrated business operations in Spain and the Americas.
