Donnarumma Contemplates Legal Action Against PSG Amid Transfer Speculation

Paris: Gianluigi Donnarumma may take legal action against Paris Saint-Germain after the Italy keeper was dropped and looks set to leave, with Manchester City waiting in the wings. The player’s agent, Enzo Raiola, revealed this potential move during an interview with Sky Sport.

According to Ansa News Agency, PSG’s decision to sideline the Azzurri skipper, forcing him to seek another position, could have legal implications. This situation echoes previous disputes involving the French club, such as the one with France superstar Kylian Mbapp©, who eventually moved to Real Madrid.

Raiola has threatened legal action, stating that PSG had made certain demands. “In the end, we accepted an offer lower than his current salary, pending further discussion after the Club World Cup, but there was a desire to continue,” Raiola explained. He emphasized the unexpected nature of the club’s decision and described it as a lack of respect, which he intends to address with his legal team to better understand PSG’s stance.

Raiola also criticized the financial demands of the Paris club, which still holds Donnarumma under contract until 2026. He remarked that the demands are exaggerated and suggested that only a Premier League club might be able to meet them.

According to L’Equipe, Manchester City is closely monitoring the situation and is prepared to act once Donnarumma’s departure from PSG becomes official.
