Demna Named New Creative Director of Gucci

Kering: Kering and Gucci announced in a note the appointment of Demna as the new Artistic Director of the Italian maison, set to begin in July 2025. Demna has been the Artistic Director of Balenciaga since 2015.

According to Ansa News Agency, Fran§ois-Henri Pinault, Chairman and CEO of Kering, stated that Demna’s contributions to the industry, Balenciaga, and the Group have been exceptional. Pinault emphasized that Demna’s creative strength is vital for the Gucci brand at this time.

Demna Gvasalia, born on March 25, 1981, is known for his innovative approach to fashion. He is a Georgian designer and co-founder of the brand Vetements.
