Deal Signed on Decarbonization of Former ILVA Plant

Taranto: An agreement on the decarbonization of the former ILVA steel plants in Taranto has been finalized at the business and made in Italy ministry (MIMIT) by national and local administrations, as reported by MIMIT sources.

According to Ansa News Agency, the agreement aims to address pollution levels while ensuring job security at the plant, which remains southern Italy’s largest single employer despite experiencing significant job cuts over the years.
