Csaba Latorcai: The cross is a sign of truth
The cross is the sign of the truth, the only universal truth – said the parliamentary state secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Spatial Development (KTM), the executive vice president of the KDNP, on Tuesday in Makkoshotyka, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, where a renovated cross standing by the road was handed over.
It is up to us whether we can protect this truth, or whether “the truth of five billion people will fall on the Earth ungovernable, making this world unlivable,” said Csaba Latorcai .
The state secretary added that the cross is also a symbol of peace.
Those who are erecting or renovating a cross now are not doing it for themselves, but for the next generation. Those who contributed to the renewal of the cross helped our unique architectural heritage survive for decades to come.”
All of this obliges us to pass on the inheritance as we received it. And this cannot be done in war. In war, there is no growth, no progress. The cross also calls us to keep the peace and stand by it
with all means! said Csaba Latorcai.
Let’s stand up for peace and truth, don’t let us deviate from the path of peace! Let’s not let them force us into the chorus of war, but together, united with each other, let’s keep Hungary Hungarian, Christian, the corner of peace and security in a Europe that is drifting into war, carrying many insecurities!”
According to member of parliament Richárd Hörcsik (Fidesz-KDNP), “as long as churches are being closed and crosses are being destroyed in Europe today, we will renew the crosses”.
With the Makkoshotyka cross, the Christian Democratic People’s Party already exceeds 160. Put up a cross for peace! the number of renovated or newly created crosses in his initiative.
