Charles and Camilla Postpone Visit to Pope Francis

Rome: King Charles and Queen Camilla will no longer meet Pope Francis during their official visit to Italy from April 7 to 10, Buckingham Palace announced on Tuesday. The decision to postpone the meeting was made mutually, taking into consideration the health needs of the pontiff.

According to Ansa News Agency, Pope Francis, who is 88 years old, was recently discharged from the hospital after a 38-day battle with pneumonia. Doctors have advised that he will require at least two months for convalescence. King Charles and Queen Camilla have extended their wishes for a speedy and full recovery to the Pope.
