Centre Left Coalition Expected to Retain Control in Tuscany – Exit Poll
Tuscany: The centre left coalition is set to hold Tuscany, according to an Opinio Italia exit poll for State broadcaster Rai that gives incumbent Governor Eugenio Giani between 52% and 56% of the vote in Sunday Monday’s regional election, with the centre right’s Alessandro Tomasi on a range of between 39 and 43%.
According to Ansa News Agency, if the result is confirmed, it will be a much-needed boost for the centre left, which is in the opposition at the national level, after a series of victories for the ruling centre-right coalition in recent regional votes.
