Businesswoman Who Ran Over Woman ‘At Prosecutors’ Disposal’

Porto cervo: A German businesswoman is under investigation for suspected vehicular homicide following a tragic incident where she ran over and killed a 24-year-old Sardinian woman at a pedestrian crossing in Sardinia. The accident occurred earlier this week, and the businesswoman has stated through her lawyers in Germany that she is willing to cooperate with Italian prosecutors.

According to Ansa News Agency, the 51-year-old businesswoman, who was on a tourist visit, is the spouse of Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr. The incident took place at the luxurious Costa Smeralda resort in Porto Cervo last Tuesday, resulting in the death of Gaia Costa, a resident of Tempio Pausania, due to severe head injuries.

Following the accident, Vivian Spohr returned to Germany. Law enforcement authorities are currently examining CCTV footage to ascertain the details of the incident. It has been confirmed that Spohr passed an alcohol test, ruling out substance influence at the time of the accident.
