Bogot¡: With a massive participation of Colombian students and aspiring university students, the sixth edition of ‘Aula Italia,’ the event that connects the main Italian educational institutions with those who dream of studying or specializing in the Belpaese, opened in Bogot¡ on Saturday. “Today you have a great opportunity to know, ask, deepen and change, and I hope you can take it and that many of you will choose Italy for your studies,” said Marco Esposito, first secretary of the Embassy of Italy in Colombia, inaugurating the event today.
According to Ansa News Agency, Esposito recalled that “Italy not only boasts world-recognized educational excellence, but also represents a gateway to the European Union system, a factor of great value for those who aspire to the highest level of education.” Organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Colombia with the support of the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute, the event involved 30 Italian universities and academic institutions.
After stops in Medelln and Barranquilla, the Bogot¡ day will include meetings with university delegates and information sessions on student visa procedures directed by the Italian diplomatic office.
